Transform Scotland has been successful in applying to the Big Give<\/a>, Green Match Fund for our <\/span>Roads to Ruin <\/b><\/span><\/a>campaign.<\/span><\/p>\n

Transport is the single biggest source of climate emissions in Scotland and little progress has been made over the last thirty years to reduce this. Donations through the Green Match Fund will help us campaign to stop new road-building in Scotland and switch investment to low carbon infrastructure for walking, cycling and public transport.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Green Match Fund has been organised by the Big Give, the UK\u2019s biggest online match funding platform, in partnership with the Environmental Funder\u2019s Network (EFN). The Green Match Fund is a match funding campaign for charities that are working on environmental issues as part of their core mission. Last year the campaign raised \u00a31.8m for over 100 charities.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

All public donations made to participating charities via theBigGive.org.uk during the week of the campaign (<\/span>22nd – 29th April 2022<\/b><\/span>) will be matched up to a specific amount. Transform was successful in applying for \u00a35,000 match (our campaign target is \u00a310,000). So, if you donate \u00a320 your donation will have twice the impact. <\/span>ONE DONATION: TWICE THE IMPACT<\/b><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The campaign launches on Friday 22nd April which is Earth Day <\/span>#WorldEarthDay #GreenMatchFund <\/b><\/span>so watch out for more details on our website\/social media and for our dedicated campaign site which is coming soon.<\/span><\/p>\n
