Our objection follows.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Dear Sir\/Madam<\/p>\n<p>We would like to register our objection to traffic orders ETRO\/14\/38B and\/or ETRO\/14\/38A on the following grounds:<\/p>\n<p>* The proposals are in conflict with CEC Local Transport Strategy policy PubTrans7 (on maintaining the existing bus lane network).<\/p>\n<p>* We are concerned that the reduction in bus lane operation gives the signal that greater private transport access within the City is being promoted at the expense of public transport provision. A large part of the standing that the The City of Edinburgh Council has on sustainable transport policy has been built around the development of its &#8216;Greenways&#8217; network of bus priority measures.
