“Levenmouth is the overwhelming priority for rail reopening in Scotland over the next few years. It’s desperate that the 37,000 residents of Leven, Buckhaven and Methil, which includes some of the most economically-deprived areas of the country, has been cut off from the rail network since 1969.<\/em><\/p>\n “Allen Armstrong’s presentation is a good summary of the key arguments for reopening the line to passenger and freight traffic.
