The group would not generally meet in person, butwould rather involve virtual communication (e.g. providing input into research project specifications and research methods).<\/p>\n<p>Transform Scotland undertakes research for sustainable and active travel modes to influence and shape policy, practice and behaviour in Scotland. Recent projects include work on topics such as car-free tourism, interchange between cycling and public transport, and the productivity benefits for business travellers of switching from air to rail.<\/p>\n<p>We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with research and analytical experience preferably in transport.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the experiences\/competencies we&#8217;d be looking for would include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Transport consultancy experience;<\/li>\n<li>Government experience (local or national);<\/li>\n<li>Transport planning\/policy competence;<\/li>\n<li>Economics competence (in particular with regards to public policy); and<\/li>\n<li>Transport appraisal competence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are available and your experience matches one or more of the competencies above we would like to have you as part of the group.
