Dear Members<\/p>\n

I\u2019m writing to give you notice of two events we\u2019re holding this autumn:<\/p>\n

Thursday 26 October: Transform Scotland Annual General Meeting & Campaign Launch, Glasgow City Chambers, 18:30-20:15<\/p>\n

* Wednesday 22 November: Transform Scotland 20th Anniversary Celebration, Edinburgh City Chambers, 18:30-20:30 (approx)<\/p>\n

For our AGM this year, we are grateful for the hospitality of Cllr Anna Richardson for hosting us in Glasgow City Chambers. The AGM will be held from 18:30-18:50, with reception open from 18:15. The agenda for the AGM is available for download from this page.<\/p>\n

Unlike last year, there are no motions for discussion at the AGM. However, Members are welcome to submit their own, the deadline for which is Thursday 5 October. Please contact\u00a0me if you would like further details.<\/p>\n

There is also no invitation to nominate new board members this year as the 2016 AGM elected the six board members specified in our new Articles for three-year terms. The board does however have the capacity to co-opt new members, and any interest here should be directed to our chair, Phil Matthews.<\/p>\n

The AGM will be followed by a campaign launch event, from 19:00-20:15. Full details for this event will follow\u00a0in the near future. (We will work on the basis that all AGM attendees will also join us for the 19:00 launch event, unless you advise us otherwise.)<\/p>\n

Details of the event in Edinburgh on Wednesday 22 November will follow in due course, but please keep that date and time free in your calendar.<\/p>\n
