Transform Scotland launches social enterprise consultancy \u2013 Transform Consulting<\/strong><\/p>\n

Transform Scotland [1] has today (Thursday 30th) announced the launch of its new consultancy arm, Transform Consulting. It has been set up as a social enterprise specifically for the purpose of reinvesting profits into Transform Scotland\u2019s campaigning work on sustainable transport.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/strong>Transform Consulting is Scotland\u2019s specialist research and communications consultancy for sustainable transport. Its work ranges from walking, cycling and road safety through to bus, rail, car share and sustainable tourism.<\/p>\n

Working with a range of experts in sustainable transport, Transform Consulting has access to a national network of transport operators, businesses, local authorities and third sector groups, alongside grassroots knowledge and contacts. Now incorporating stakeholder engagement services, Transform Consulting will work closely with Transform Creative [2] – Scotland\u2019s specialist design agency for the third sector – who provide a range of design and communications expertise including marketing, branding and public relations.<\/p>\n

Commenting on the launch of Transform Consulting, Enterprise Manager Elspeth Wray said:<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cWe are a social enterprise and all our profits are reinvested in the charitable work of Transform Scotland, the national alliance for sustainable transport. All our work is professionally project-managed and delivered by highly experienced researchers and advisors.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Transform Consulting builds upon the initial consultancy, Transform Research and Communications (TRAC), that it launched in 2014.<\/p>\n

Previous work includes research into understanding the carbon benefits of switching from air to rail travel. Damien Henderson, Scottish Affairs and Media Manager of Virgin Trains said:<\/p>\n

Transform Consulting have also worked with Sustrans Scotland to draft several key publications, including a Strategic Review document. Commenting on the work, Daisy Narayanan, Deputy Director, Sustrans Scotland said:<\/p>\n
