This was a great opportunity for our members and supporters to meet and make connections with others working and\/or interested in sustainable transport.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Although the broad theme for this session was \u2018take-aways from COP26\u2019, conversations spanned various topics and allowed attendees to:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Discuss their current campaigning activities\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ask questions and share knowledge about best-practice campaigning techniques<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Advertise different events in sustainable transport\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Converse about upcoming consultations\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Speak about a range of sustainable transport-related topics<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>We would be very pleased to see you at our next Networking Session, which will be held on the 12 April from 5\u20136pm.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> If you can\u2019t make this date then do not worry as we are planning to run them throughout the year to help connect people from across the sustainable transport sector.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Here is some feedback we received from our session on Tuesday:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/transform.scot\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Copy-of-TS-event.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-9938 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/transform.scot\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Copy-of-TS-event-300x150.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"488\" height=\"244\" srcset=\"https:\/\/transform.scot\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Copy-of-TS-event-300x150.png 300w, https:\/\/transform.scot\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Copy-of-TS-event-768x384.png 768w, https:\/\/transform.scot\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Copy-of-TS-event.png 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 488px) 100vw, 488px\" \/><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Cross-Party Group on Sustainable Transport: progress and upcoming dates<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">After a successful first Cross-Party Group on Sustainable Transport meeting in November last year, where we established the group and set out its <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/transform.scot\/blog\/2021\/11\/25\/new-parliamentary-cross-party-group-established-to-study-sustainable-transport-policy\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">goals and ambitions<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> for Session 6, we are looking forward to the upcoming meeting scheduled for 27 January, where:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Graham Simpson MS<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">P is set to introduce the meeting<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Heather Cowan<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> \u2018Head of Climate Change and Just Transition for Transport, Transport Scotland\u2019 will be reporting on the Scottish Government\u2019s route map to achieve a 20% reduction in car kilometres by 2030<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">There will be a<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Q+A<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> session and an opportunity for discussion.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you or your organisation are interested in attending future meetings and\/or becoming members of the CPG on Sustainable Transport, then you can do so by <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/transform.scot\/who-we-are\/contact-us\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">contacting us here<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The scheduled dates for the following months are:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-9937 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/transform.scot\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Copy-of-TS-Action-Alerts-August-2021-300x150.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"488\" height=\"244\" srcset=\"https:\/\/transform.scot\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Copy-of-TS-Action-Alerts-August-2021-300x150.png 300w, https:\/\/transform.scot\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Copy-of-TS-Action-Alerts-August-2021-768x384.png 768w, https:\/\/transform.scot\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Copy-of-TS-Action-Alerts-August-2021.png 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 488px) 100vw, 488px\" \/><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b>Annual General Meeting<\/b> <b>2022<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We are tentatively planning an \u2018in-person\u2019 AGM this year on 23 June. Although this will be dependent on any Covid-19 restrictions in place at the time, we would be delighted to see you \u2013 either in person or virtually \u2013 so make a note in your diary and keep an eye out for further updates regarding these plans.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>25th anniversary event\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Transform Scotland is turning 25! Join us later in the year to celebrate our quadranscentennial birthday.
