Infrastructure Investment Plan needs to deliver low-carbon transformation

Transform director Colin Howden said:
“The current Infrastructure Investment Plan is overwhelmingly skewed to high-carbon transport, with the £600m on low-carbon investment dwarfed by £6.4bn on high-carbon spend.
“In the context of the Climate Emergency, it would represent a major failure for Ministers’ standing on climate should the new IIP not see a comprehensive correction towards low-carbon transport.”
